Assessment schemes for sustainable buildings aim to make the overall building quality more transparent, measurable and comparable. However, each scheme has different methods of weighting the individual aspects depending on the specific national requirements or the type of building for which it is developed. Using these building assessment schemes requires an understanding of their differences.
